Okay, so the first one on the list isn’t a dress, its a romper. But look how cute it is! I love the tie detail and the verticle stripes. Rompers are some of my favourite outfits because you put almost no effort into looking fabulous. The romper does all the work! This one is also nice because the slightly baggy fabric makes it work for a long torso too. I’d pair this with some wedge heels for a date or with converse for a casual summer look.
This dress is beautiful! I love the floral detail. Every time I see florals in spring it reminds me of Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada (you know what I’m talking about), but it works! Even if seeing florals is no big surprise, it’s a timeless, classic pattern that instantly makes any outfit have a delicate vibe. The blue background colour of this dress is especially gorgeous with the fringe detail going across the bust. As far as feminine dresses go, this one’s got it all.
This dress is simple, that’s the only way to put it. This is a basic item that every girl should own. A simple black dress can be made into so many outfits. Pair with heels or pair with vans, there pretty much isn’t any way to mess up an outfit with this dress. For $20 you could potentially have 4 or 5 really unique outfits from this one piece depending on how you acceossorize!
This polka dot cutout dress is super cute and super casual. The photo above has it paired with black boots but I think it pairs better with wedges. I find that side cutouts are typically flattering on everyone. I sometimes get too self-conscious to wear tummy cutouts or don’t have the right bra for a back cutout. But side cutouts are always a nice touch to an otherwise simple dress.
This is the edgiest style on the list. It’s a perfect going-out outfit. It’s made of faux leather (so vegans can breathe a sigh of relief) but still has ruffles at the neckline for a feminine vibe. I would personally leave the jewellery at a minimum for this outfit since the dress is already sort of a statement on its own. This dress should definitely be worn with heels to complete the look. (A red heel would be so badass!)
I mentioned before that I’m not a fan of tummy cutouts so when I feel like showing a little skin I usually go for some mesh. This style has a very flattering mesh window where that sexy line down your back shows but still covers your bra band. And your tummy shows, but not the parts some women (myself included) like to hide from the public.
